The Eyebrook Reservoir nestles on the borders of three counties, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire, one of the pretties parts of England.  We are surrounded by rolling arable fields, pasture land, spruce, pine and willow trees. You would be hard stretched to find a more attractive looking water.  The area aroundthe reservoir is an important habitat for wildlife, and was designated 'A Site of Special Scientific Interest' in 1956.  It is now a nature reserve, and is well known for its varied waterfowl, and overhead you will see red kite, and if you are lucky, the Osprey which nested around the reservoir in 2008, and we hope for their return again this year.

The 2007 season brought a total of 7,190 rods, catching 31,264 trout, giving a fantastic rod average of 4.34.  The 2008 figures are not in yet, but is expected to be much higher.

There are many special open days, as well as match days and championships days, including 'The English Disabled Presidents Trophy' and 'The English Disabled National Eliminator', among others.

The reservoir supplies special boats for the disabled in wheelchairs, called wheelyboats.  Also there are special platforms for wheelchair users to fish on the banks.  The Fishing Lodge provides access and facilities for the disabled.

A fleet of 30 well maintained motorboats are available for hire, equiped with 4hp engines.

The Fishing Lodge not only has wonderful views of the reservoir, it also offers a warm sanctuary for you to relax in after a hard days fishing and catch up with with your fellow anglers.  There is an adjoining kitchen, where complimentary tea and coffee is always available.

Next door to the lodge is an onsite tackle shop with everything you could ever need, and advice is available on every aspect of fishing.
