Come to the Old Rectory to find your long forgotten family.  We have a vast array of census returns, maps and family histories together with Village surveys of where people lived, going back to 1805.  We can't guarantee to find your family details, but please telephone us first, if you are thinking of staying, so we have time to find any information you are looking for.  We have all the census returns going back to 1841, together with the 1805 enclosure map, as well as many pictures of the village and its people going back over 100 years.  You will be able to find where your ancestors lived, where they were born, who they married and how many children they had.  Some of your family still might be remembered in the Village, so it is worth the journey to find out.  We have had many people researching their ancestors, and all have found out much, much more than they ever thought they would.
